DHWANI
A very traditional and ancient instrument, the Nadaswaram heralds every marriage in South India. It is also played during temple festivals. It is played for all auspicious occasions. Mambalam Brothers are versatile artistes and have performed widely. This album has compositions like Mahadeva Siva Shambo in raga Revathi, Marivera in Lathangi and Mariyaadha Kadhura in Shankarabharanam. The album concludes with a Meera Bhajan in raga Misra Hindolam. This concept was concieved by L Vaidyanathan.
