| The temples at Khajuraho were build during the Chandela dynasty,between 950 and 1050. Only about 20 temples remain; they fall into three distinct groups and belong to two different religious - Hinduism and Jainism. They strike a perfect balance between architecture and sculpture. The music is a beautiful canvas of World Music,which draws from both the history and the myth behind the temples, which is also believed to be the reason behind the construction of these masterpiece. |
