SURYA UPASANA
This album is an invocation to the Sun God. Prayers are offered with water to the first rays of the Sun in the morning. This is done along with the chanting of shlokas. These are prayers to the Sun God, which is considered the heart and mind of all that exists in the universe. The prayers are also offered as a penance for all the sins and during this prayer, the devotee askes for forgiveness for his sins. In this album the chants are rendered by the multi faceted vocalist Shubha Mudgal.
